As we reported earlier this year, Disney’s Contemporary Resort is beginning a major room refurbishment, limiting availability from April to September 2021. Some refurbishment began last month, but as of today, almost half of the resort’s rooms are blocked off.

Tan curtains cover most of the interior balconies on one side of the hotel.

Though Disney has not made an official announcement regarding theming, it’s likely the rooms will be receiving an Incredibles overlay. Incredibles-themed rooms were tested back in 2019.

Black curtains around the elevators also block the rooms under refurbishment.
