PHOTOS: Repainting of Cinderella Castle Roof Back to Blue Continues for 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World

The centerpiece of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” at Walt Disney World continues to take on its new updated look. Earlier today we reported that the final bunting has been added to the bottom perimeter of the Magic Kingdom park icon. As we see today, the roof just above the clock has been fixed as well.

Yesterday we reported that Cinderella Castle, along with other roofs around Fantasyland were being painted to blue. Earlier this year, the roofs of the castle shimmered with what Disney called “EARidescence”.

The gold accents frame this crosshatch design nicely.

With progress moving swiftly towards the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort we should see work continued to the upper sections of the castle which will feature various accents and spires inspired by classic Disney stories.

The 50th Anniversary of The Most Magical Place on Earth will be October 1st of this year. Will you be in the parks to kick off the party? Let us know and follow WDWNT for more updates!
