The Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station has been under refurbishment for the past few weeks as Magic Kingdom is refreshed ahead of its 50th anniversary this October. Following the repainting of the train cars, work has now begun on repainting the train engine.
The engine is currently surrounded with shrubbery to block view of the ongoing work.
The wheeled shrubbery wraps around to the giraffes train car.
We can see the roof of the engine, which has been partially repainted. This side still has faded splotches of blue from sitting in the sun.
But the other side has a smoother finish. It looks like Cast Members are using airbrush or spray paint.
Keep checking WDWNT as we continue to check in on this and many other construction projects ahead of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”
