One of the fun differences between Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea is that while Tokyo Disneyland’s default costumes for Mickey and the Disney Friends are their standard garb, Tokyo DisneySea features a rather unique blue and white cruise garb look for the gang! And as Tokyo Disney Resort continues to push out Posey Plush costumes, their next round coming May 27th features these unique costumes!

Each of these costumes was first seen in Over the Waves, a show that played at Tokyo DisneySea’s Dockside Stage from 2006 through 2010 and featured Mickey and friends embarking on a Dream Cruise around the world and the hijinks of the two stowaways, Tonio and Maria, who are trying to get home to Italy and see their mother. After the Tokyo DisneySea 5th Anniversary, these costumes replaced the classic Admiral Mickey look seen at the park’s open. While Over the Waves is long gone, these costumes are still used to greet Guests at Tokyo DisneySea’s entrance plaza!
