Pin collectors, take note: beginning on Monday, April 19th, Pin Trading Headquarters will be closed for a short period at EPCOT.

The approximately three-week closure is connected to a refurbishment just outside the shop. The pavement is set to be redone in front of the store, and while the section is unpaved, new wiring will be laid to allow for an updated computer system, blocking off access to Pin Trading Headquarters. During the closure, select limited edition pins will be moved to Gateway Gifts, located on the opposite end of Spaceship Earth. Currently, the shop is scheduled to reopen on Friday, May 7th.

This is just the latest section of repaving being done around Spaceship Earth, which has replaced the pink pavement with a gray look, complimenting the new EPCOT entrance plaza. The previous phase began just weeks ago next to the shop.
