Farmers Feast, which is new to the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival this year, has boasted a rotating menu of food and unique drinks. Last week, we tried the booth’s new food items and now the Strawberry-Basil Cocktail has appeared on the menu, replacing the Blood Orange Beet Cocktail.

Strawberry-Basil Cocktail with Palm Ridge Golden Wheat Whiskey
This cocktail was really tasty. The strawberry side of it is freshly crafted from a strawberry puree.
The first sip was heavy on the whiskey, letting us know both that Farmers Feast isn’t skimping on the alcohol and that the Palm Ridge Golden Wheat Whiskey is quite smooth.
After giving it a good stir, the whiskey and strawberry blended to form a refreshing spring cocktail.
There isn’t much essence of basil flavor off the bat, but breaking up the large basil leaf will enhance the taste and tone down the sweetness of the strawberry if desired.
Overall, this is a nice addition to Farmers Feast and an excellent choice of drink as the weather warms up.
