With the eventual capacity increase to hit the theme parks and the reopening of more resort hotels and attractions, Walt Disney World is currently looking to fill part-time Cast Member roles in Attractions, Custodial, Merchandise, and Quick Service Foods departments.
The Disney Careers job listing follows “Earning My Ears” nametag adornments popping up along with groups of Cast Members returning to work and training after being furloughed or displaced. These efforts are made as Walt Disney World amps up its number of Cast Members in preparation for increased capacity, which may soon hit the parks. In addition, as more attractions open up from being temporarily closed due to refurbishment, such as with the Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover, more Cast Members will be needed to run them.
Job Summary:
As a Cast Member working in either Attractions, Custodial, Merchandise, or Quick Service Foods, you will have opportunities to create memories across property working locations unique to the Walt Disney World Resort Parks and Resorts.
Attractions:
Attractions Cast Members are focused on the safety of Guests while creating magical experiences throughout their stay. Attractions Cast Members engage Guests, loading and unloading attractions, operating sophisticated ride systems, delivering narrations of varying lengths in front of large groups, and providing audience control in different weather conditions.
Custodial:
Custodial Cast Members are focused on creating magic for Guests during their Walt Disney World Resort stay by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness & Guest Service. Custodial Cast Members provide exceptional Guest Service by answering questions, providing directions while maintaining responsibilities that include sweeping, cleaning tables, emptying trashcans, cleaning restrooms, and using chemical supplies.
Merchandise:
Merchandise Cast Members are focused on creating a magical and enjoyable shopping experience by ensuring the highest standard of Guest Service. Merchandise Cast Members engage with Guest and Cast, working at several locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. Responsibilities include operating a point-of-sale system (POS register), cash handling, stocking, inventory, and light cleaning.
Quick Service Foods:
Food & Beverage Quick Service Restaurant Cast Members are focused on creating a magical and enjoyable dining experience by ensuring the highest standard of Guest Service. Food & Beverage Quick Service Restaurant Cast Members will work in a fast pace environment either at an indoor counter service or at an outdoor vending location taking orders, cash handling, food preparation, stocking condiments, and keeping the work location clean.
