“Harmonious” Soundtrack Heard by Guests During Overnight Test at EPCOT

Although there is currently no opening date announced for EPCOT’s new nighttime spectacular, Harmonious, the show is expected to debut later this year for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary. A few days ago, guests overheard the soundtrack of the short-lived EPCOT Forever interim show playing after hours in the park, sparking rumors that it may be returning before Harmonious. Last night, however, the Harmonious soundtrack was heard.

Twitter user itsDrewDavid shared video in which the music from the EPCOT Experience can be heard. Spotlights similar to those seen in the Harmonious concept footage can also be seen.

Barges for Harmonious are currently parked in World Showcase Lagoon at EPCOT, where they will remain and act as fountains during the day. Testing of the barges and some of the show’s water elements has been ongoing while the park is open. The barges have also been cleaned and repainted.

Would you like to see EPCOT Forever return or would you rather Harmonious debut soon? Let us know in the comments.

  1. Can we just have illuminations back? I love new things and while I miss wishes, HAE is beautiful! But this? No. I just can’t get excited. It doesn’t feel like Epcot at all and I want the park to retain as much of its distinct identity as possible. Just my take.
