In January, Walt Disney Imagineering filed a permit for construction of a new popcorn stand in EPCOT’s World Celebration neighborhood. This stand will be at one end of Creations Shop, which is replacing Mouse Gear as the main store.

Pavement has been filled in all around the site of the stand, with a clear sidewalk curving out from Creations Shop. This is a major difference from what we saw in February and last month. The remaining dirt areas will likely be filled in with landscaping. Poles outline the shape of the future stand, and vertical construction will begin soon.

The World Celebration neighborhood will also be home to Club Cool, Starbucks, and a new quick-service restaurant. What are you most looking forward to in the future of EPCOT? Let us know in the comments.
