Mickey’s PhilharMagic is the latest Walt Disney World attraction to eliminate physical distancing requirements. The Magic Kingdom attraction is now seating guests in every row.
Mickey welcomes us from atop the marquee.
The queue still has physical distancing markers.
In the pre-show area, guests wait to enter the theater. No physical distancing markers are in this area.
Guests must remain masked indoors.
Without markers, guests crowd into the room.
Once the theater doors open, guests may choose any row as all rows are now open. We have seen all rows in use at “Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream“, “A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King“, and Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress.
Cast Members did not provide any physical distancing directions to the guests. The Cast Members did ask guests to move all the way across the row.
The Mickey’s PhilharMagic theater quickly filled, with very few empty seats.
What to you think about increased seating capacity at this and other theater-based attractions? Let us know in the comments.
Fantastic!
I hear fast pass kiosks have been uncovered at magic kingdom. Is this true?
