As we get closer to May 16th, the official temperature check removal date, we are starting to notice that the temperature checkpoints that normally were at the entrance or host stand at table service restaurants in resort hotels are starting to disappear. Yesterday, we reported that the verbiage about restaurant, resort and theme park temperature checks had been updated.
What once was a podium with hand sanitizer and temperature check tools, is now a self hand sanitizing station and a check-in QR code. The podium has fully been removed.
These changes come less than a week after Disney announcing the removal of the temperature checks from resorts and theme parks.
What do you think about the temperature checks being removed?
They should have kept the temperature checks and 6 foot distances and removed the draconian and useless mask mandates.
