With the regular Baby Care Center closed for refurbishment, parents of small children and infants will want to note that a temporary Baby Care Center has opened in Tomorrowland. The new location is to the right of the Carousel of Progress.
New signs help guide parents to the temporary Baby Care Center.
This location formerly housed corporate lounges—first, General Electric when they sponsored Carousel of Progress, and then AAA. Check out our video tour of the AAA lounge as it existed in 2006.
Inside is a desk staffed by Cast Members for anyone with questions or needing help. They also maintain the capacity of the different areas. Physical distancing markers are in place inside.
On the left side, there is a baby changing area, high chairs, and a family area.
High chair stations have assigned numbers and are six feet apart. Some decals of Disney characters have been added to the walls.
A kitchen area is located to the right. There are bottle warmers and a microwave. There are also feeding essentials, such as bottles and formula, for sale. A small shopping section with baby medicine, first aid supplies, diapers, and stroller accessories is also available.
Down the hall to the right, you can find restrooms and nursing rooms.
No construction walls have appeared around the regular Baby Care Center, but the doors are locked, and signage has been updated to direct guests to Tomorrowland.
This location is being updated to accommodate a higher capacity.
A smaller placard by the doors also directs guests to the temporary location.
Cast Members said they expect to be at the temporary location for about six weeks.
