As summer approaches, it always reminds us of sitting around the campfire eating s’mores. Luckily, Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew has a new donut devoted to the gooey treat… no campfire needed!

The S’mores Galore is a chocolate-iced donut topped with chocolate icing, buttercream, crushed Golden Grahams and a toasted marshmallow.

Unfortunately, we found that this donut was a little disappointing. It doesn’t really taste like s’mores, but the presentation is great.

The donut and icing were good, but the buttercream was very sweet, which threw off the taste.

To add insult to injury, the Golden Grahams were stale, which hurt the texture.

I was hoping there would be marshmallow fluff (as the menu says is supposed to be on the donut) or something else to spread out the s’mores taste, but there wasn’t.

All in all, it isn’t bad, but it’s not great, either. Frankly, we were hoping for something more. You’re better off heading to EPCOT for the S’mores Brownie at Regal Eagle Smokehouse. Still, it wins points for presentation!

The donut sells for $5.50, and is part of “The Funky Bunch” on the Everglazed menu.
