Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Many Star Wars-inspired treats are available for a limited time at Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate May the 4th, a.k.a. Star Wars Day and among the treats at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the Dark Side Chocolate Creation, which resembles Star Wars: The Phantom Menace‘s Darth Maul
- The Interstellar Sweet and Crunchy Popcorn is only available today, and tomorrow (May 4-5th) at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, so you’ll want it on your must-try list if you have a reservation
- After a successful limited-time appearance in October, Mira, the star of Disney Junior’s “Mira, Royal Detective,” has returned to the Disney Junior Stars Motorcade at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida will take you to a galaxy far, far away for an all-immersive, two-night vacation experience that goes beyond anything Disney has ever created before and in honor of May the 4th, Disney is showing a little something we’ve been waiting for… footage of the “real” lightsaber
- Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser invites guests into a new kind of “storyliving” as they travel the galaxy in style aboard the glamorous Halcyon starcruiser, known for its impeccable service and exotic destinations, as guests stay in well-appointed cabins, experience exquisite dining and out-of-this-world entertainment, visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and much more
- Additionally, a model of the starcruiser Halcyon is now on display in Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- After revealing several new details about the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel coming to Walt Disney World in 2022, Disney has added the hotel to digital guidemaps
- If you are a Central Florida local and want to join the crew of the Halcyon, it might be your lucky day because Disney has posted several positions at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel
Disneyland Resort
- Among the changes to Disneyland’s The Haunted Mansion is a brand new “secret” entrance, used to curb crowds in the attraction’s main queue with a bypass of the stretching room
- Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye has reopened at Disneyland Park with new physical distancing measures
- Disneyland Resort has reopened with character interactions in the form of distanced meet and greets so we kept an eye out for familiar friends while at Disney California Adventure and spotted the Country Bears and Chip & Dale hanging around Grizzly Peak
- We were excited to return to Disney California Adventure today after Disneyland Resort reopened on Friday and with the park’s reopening came some queue and operational changes for attractions like here at Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!

- It’s an exciting day to be a Star Wars fan and even more exciting if you have park reservations for Walt Disney World Resort because among the new Star Wars items available today are new Star Tours Disney Parks Wishables
- The new Star Tours Disney Parks Wishables have also landed at The Star Trader in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park, and we got our hands on the R2-D2 unbagged Wishable for a closer look
- Guests at Walt Disney World Resort today will be able to find a selection of new Star Wars merchandise in celebration of May the 4th and this full list is being distributed to park guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios is celebrating Star Wars Day with new limited edition and limited release merchandise available at Stage 1 Company Store on Grand Avenue
- Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and creator of Her Universe, announced the pre-order of new Darth Vader-inspired Minnie Ears in honor of Star Wars Day
- The Starbucks “Been There” Series Star Wars mugs have arrived across Walt Disney World Resort, and we stopped by the Main Street Bakery at the Magic Kingdom to get a better look
- Dok Ondar has a new limited edition legacy lightsaber hilt set in stock at his Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge that includes the hilt of Luke Skywalker’s reforged laser sword and the hilt of the saber briefly used by Leia Organa
- Show the Little Green Men some love with this new open edition Pizza Planet MagicBand now available at Walt Disney World
- For the younglings or youngling-at-hearts, new toys and collector’s items are landing at Black Spire Outpost on both coasts very soon
- Yet another Star Wars Day celebratory offering is the Darth Vader souvenir stein and though this is not the first time we’ve seen it in the parks, it has been YEARS since we last saw it and it’s still a fun option
