PHOTOS: Reentry Tunnel to “The Grid” Now Open Once Again at TRON Lightcycle Run in Magic Kingdom
We have been keeping you steadily updated on the highly-anticipated TRON Lightcycle / Run coaster that is coming to the Magic Kingdom. While this project has been delayed several times in the past, it seems things are finally starting to pick up more and more each day. This morning we noticed that a corner of the main show building is now open.
Crew members are still working on installing lights to the track as well. Once fully completed, the ride will have stunning blue lighting throughout. Below is a picture from the ride in Shanghai Disneyland for reference.
Another clear view through the structure of the building through the new opening.
Crew members are still working on removing other parts of the paneling from the show building as well, but the reentry tunnel is open once more.
Blue safety netting was also recently installed for workers.
Here we also have a better view of the structure underneath.
While this will not be open in time for Magic Kingdom’s 50th birthday on October 1st, we hope that it will be soon after.
