In recent months Disney has released several new pins for their limited edition “Where Fantasy Grows: A Disney Terrarium” and “Windows of Main Street, U.S.A.” collections. Today we got a look at some of the newest additions to both!
“Where Fantasy Grows: A Disney Terrarium” Timon Pin (LE 4000) – $19.99
Every pin in the “Where Fantasy Grows” series features a peek through a terrarium dome at a beautiful natural setting, complete with dreamy plants and flowers.
This addition to the collection features Timon lazing around the oasis while dining on a delectable bowl of something slimy. We found it at Frontier Trading Post at Magic Kingdom.
“The Windows of Main Street” Oswald Pin (LE 3000)- $19.99
Each of these limited edition “Windows of Main Street” pins model a window actually found on Main Street, U.S.A.
For this pin the window moves up and down to reveal Oswald the Lucky Rabbit striking a pose.
Also found at Frontier Trading Post, the windows on the pin feature an homage to classic Disney animator Ub Iwerks and his son Don Iwerks.
“The Windows of Main Street” Pinocchio Pin (LE 3000)- $19.99
Finally, Disney also released a limited edition “Windows of Main Street” pin with Pinocchio and Geppetto, which we found at Fantasia in the Contemporary Resort.
Once shuttered, the windows on the pin mention legendary Disney artist Ralph Kent. He credited his first viewing of Pinocchio for inspiring him to join the ranks of Disney designers.
