Some FastPass+ kiosks in Magic Kingdom have been uncovered, suggesting the line-skipping service may soon return.

A handful of the kiosks were uncovered in Tomorrowland, with the screens on and operating on a few of them.

Though the green light came on when we tapped our MagicBand and Apple Watch, nothing happened on the screen so we weren’t able to actually book FastPasses.

FastPasses have been unavailable since Walt Disney World reopened last summer while capacity was lower and physical distancing was enforced. Two weeks ago, we noticed the addition of “standby” to wait times listed in My Disney Experience. Hopefully, these signs mean FastPass+ will be back in the coming weeks.

  1. YES!! bring on the fast passes. Its so hard to keep a 5 year old in the long lines of at least an hour. Please bring it back.

  2. I sure hope it DOES NOT return. Lines have been bearable BECAUSE there’s no fast pass. Without fast pass, we can enjoy our day at Disney without having to schedule everything.

  3. Waiting for Fastpass+ and Magic Hours and Character Dining and the Dining Plan to return, hopefully by mid September when we arrive!!!

  4. I remember using fast pass it was so nice because we were able to make more of the shows we wanted to see but if everyone is waiting on fast passes want that make the lines shorter just joking .

  5. This does not make me super happy. We just got back from WDW and having just the standby line actually made it wonderful. No more letting 50-75 or more fastpass ppl go by while you just wait. IMHO, fastpasses make the wait times longer. Plus I hate having to pick the fastpasses in advance. It should be day of your park visit, like it used to be.

Hopefully they will revamp the system so it works better.

  6. Those kiosks covers became umbrellas for 3 rude guests. They removed them and used them to protect themselves for an afternoon down pour. 2 kiosks screens were frozen with a purple hue. Looked damaged. And the 3rd had the FP screen, but the magic band reader did not do anything when tapped.
