Physical distancing is disappearing at Walt Disney World. At Magic Kingdom, we noticed that every seat and row of Splash Mountain logs are now being filled again, increasing capacity for the ride. Unlike other attractions, Splash Mountain never had dividers on the seats, so rows were being left empty instead.

One row of a Splash Mountain log seats two to three guests, depending on how many children are in the group.

Most of the logs we observed were completely full and a Cast Member confirmed they are seating every row.

Guests from separate parties will likely not be seated in the same row together.

  1. I want to know if they are officially taking row requests again. I have lucked out on every ride since reopening and have been able to get the front row. The cast members told me every time that they weren’t taking row requests but waved me through to someone that gave me the front row. I don’t want to ride in any other row.
