Fireworks are returning to Walt Disney World July 1. Happily Ever After will return to the Magic Kingdom for the first time since March 15, 2020. Before reintroducing guests to the nighttime spectacular, Disney must test the show. Here’s what we saw during the June 26 test:
Magic Kingdom Cast Members have received an invitation to view Happily Ever After June 29 during a “Magic Kingdom Cast Homecoming Ever After” event.
Disney has announced that no special fireworks will take place for Independence Day on July 4.
Happily Ever After isn’t the only nighttime spectacular returning July 1. EPCOT Forever will return to World Showcase Lagoon the same night. Happily Ever After and EPCOT Forever will be replaced October 1 with Enchantment and Harmonious, respectively. October 1 marks the beginning of the Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th Anniversary.
