Main Street Confectionery Refurbishment Scheduled Through October 2 at Magic Kingdom

The Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom closed for refurbishment on March 29, 2021. The initial announcement regarding the closure indicated the confectionery would be closed for at least two months, but no reopening date has been announced. The Walt Disney World calendar now indicates the candy shop will be closed through October 2.

It’s possible the refurbishment may last longer or even be completed sooner to get the Main Street Confectionery open in time for October 1, Magic Kingdom’s 50th birthday. The Main Street Cinema is currently selling candy and sweets while the confectionery is closed.
