Hello from a lovely but hot and humid day at the Magic Kingdom! We came to check out what might be new at this classic park, and we found some things to show you. Let’s get started!

On our way into the park, we noticed that the first parking lot as you exit the Transportation and Ticket Center, the Aladdin parking lot, had been reserved entirely for Preferred Parking guests. Since the reopening of the parks last year until recently, this lot was split between Preferred Parking and Regular Parking.

Just inside the park, we saw that the sign for Tony’s Town Square Restaurant had been removed, and replaced with a vinyl banner.

Character cavalcade times are now available on the digital time boards posted around the park, as well as on the MyDisneyExperience app. For more pictures and information on this new development, check out our article here.

The refurbishment of the “Partners” statue is ongoing. Today the statue had a noticeably different all-over color and texture.

Nearby, someone had put googly eyes on one of the refurbishment signs. It was nice to have a good laugh in the morning!

A truckload of metal framing arrived this morning at the construction site of TRON Lightcycle / Run. While it is strapped down in this picture, the straps were removed by the time we left this area. We’ll be watching to see where these pieces go!

As part of the ongoing changes to Jungle Cruise, the iconic attraction got a new sign. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

Space Mountain had an impressively long line today, with a wait time of 80 minutes around 10 a.m. The line snaked its way through Tomorrowland and ended right underneath the Tomorrowland sign on the bridge to the land.

Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies was open early yet again today. With there being no pattern to these early openings, it’s unclear when this location will open anymore.

We found three new mugs around the park today. The first was this Eeyore “Got That Monday Morning Feeling” mug which we found at The Emporium for $14.99.

The second was this Minnie Mouse “Good Morning Sunshine” mug, which we found at Star Traders for $14.99.

The last one was this Grumpy “NOPE” mug, complete with lid, which we found at Boutiki in the nearby Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for $19.99.

As new Haunted Mansion merchandise slowly wanders into the parks, we found this new backpack featuring patches and embroidered accents of iconic attraction elements. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

It was a good day for pin collectors as we found two new Limited Edition pins and one Disney Rewards exclusive pin. For more pictures and information on all three, check out our article here.

We had a wonderful time at the Magic Kingdom, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
