Cinderella Castle has received yet another exciting update in the Magic Kingdom in preparation for the resort’s 50th anniversary in October. Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle shared on Instagram that a golden 50th medallion has been added overnight!
The medallion rests in the spot where the clock is normally featured. It boasts a beautiful EARidescent color with golden “50” numbers in the center.

I like the clock better. I also like the old paint job better. I was okay with the darker gray at the bottom and the darker blue on the turrets, but everything else…….not so much. Better than the birthday cake fiasco i suppose, but still a little too much.
