PHOTOS: Incredible Mt. Prometheus-Centric Special Banquet Coming to Hotel MiraCosta for Tokyo DisneySea 20th Anniversary “Time to Shine!” Celebration
Tokyo DisneySea will soon mark its 20th anniversary on September 4th, along with the Hotel MiraCosta built inside the park itself! To commemorate this momentous anniversary, a number of special meals will be served at Hotel MiraCosta’s restaurants. One in particular has caught our eye — a special (and pricey) banquet meal featuring dishes with the motif of park icons Mt. Prometheus and the AquaSphere!
Special Banquet Menu – ¥120000 ($1091.24)
You read that right; this special dinner costs nearly $1100! Available as part of Hotel MiraCosta’s dinner banquet plans, this special banquet is available for parties of six (with each additional guest costing ¥19600 ($178.24)). The meal consists of six courses, from amuse-bouche to dessert. The appetizers feature the Tokyo DisneySea 20th Anniversary logo, and consist of 20 different types of carefully arranged vegetables accented with lemon and zucchini purees. The main course of fish appears in the shape of the park’s icon Mt. Prometheus, filled with a spicy tomato and olive tapenade that looks like lava! For dessert, guests are served a lovely cake in the shape of the iconic AquaSphere, making this a meal that all fans of Tokyo DisneySea can enjoy!
Additionally, since this is a banquet plan, guests are seated in one of the hotel’s two smaller banquet rooms for two hours, overlooking Mediterranean Harbor. Soft drinks are available all-you-can-drink, and guests will be presented with original banquet merchandise upon the end of their meal.
The special banquet meal is available from September 3rd, 2021, through September 3rd, 2022, at Hotel MiraCosta. Reservations can be made by calling the hotel’s banquet division at +81 047 (305) 2754 (in Japanese only).
