PHOTOS: More Preparation Pops Up for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida

Halloween Horror Nights is just around the corner, it seems, as more scrim, lighting, and scaffolding is appearing around the park in preparation for the creepiest time of the year.

The area around Cafe La Bamba now has green scrim around some taller posts. This area traditionally hosts a scare zone.

Based on previous years, these are likely lighting structures.

Just outside The Mummy, a larger structure has popped up fully concealed. Similar structures have been seen in events past, with uses from lighting/special effects, to frames for theming, or as small stages for scareactors.

Lighting has been added along the rooftops of several buildings in the New York streets of Universal Studios Florida where scare zones are typically found.

A previous construct we found still covered sits in front of Finnegan’s Bar and Grill near Sahara Traders. This structure is also likely to hold scareactors, props, or signage for a scare zone.

Lighting can be seen above further down the street, including the rooflines of Palace Theater Arcade and Sahara Traders.

In other Halloween Horror Nights news, a newly updated speculation map was released for the event followed by some spooky new merchandise.
