Walls went up recently around sections of Frontierland, signaling an upcoming refurbishment. We stopped by this morning to check in on progress and found that most of the boardwalk has been covered in tarps. Let’s take a look!
Since our last update, more brown tarp has been added to the worksite. It now covers most of the ground within the walls at Prairie Outpost and Supply, including the wooden boardwalk directly in front of the façades.
The project is likely for improvements in advance of the 50th anniversary of the Magic Kingdom this October. Much of the Magic Kingdom has been undergoing similar refurbishments, from repainting to pavement replacement.
The worksite at Frontier Mercantile remains much the same, with the area surrounding the tree covered with tarps.
