The Wave… of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will be closing July 16 as Disney refurbishes the restaurant in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort. During the closure, The Wave’s breakfast will be available at California Grill.
Breakfast will be offered from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM daily according to the Walt Disney World website. The website states the breakfast will be available for a limited time but is listed through September 6, the current extent of the calendar. Read our review of the “Wave Feast” breakfast.
No reopening date or refurbishment details have been announced regarding The Wave… of American Flavors. Of course, Disney is currently updating guest rooms at the resort with thematic elements from Pixar’s The Incredibles, and you may remember that we had told you some years ago that there was talk of turning The Wave into “The Incredibles Steakhouse”.
