While experiencing all the familiar oddities that Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto has to offer on its reopening day, we noticed not only an updated menu that featured a now shrunken-less Zombie Head, but it appears as though the backstory of Trader Sam has been modified as well.
Among the other cultural revisions that are occurring on Jungle Cruise & inside the well-traveled bar, Trader Sam is no longer listed as a headhunting salesman but a wandering explorer bitten by the bug for magical libations.

I think this is kind of a silly change, but there isn’t much lost in it. As long as the story is creative, clever, and believable it works for me.
