BREAKING: Boma Will Be First Standard Buffet to Return at Walt Disney World

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is set to reopen to all guests on August 26, and Boma – Flavors of Africa, one of the resort’s restaurants, along with it. While other former Walt Disney World buffet restaurants have switched to family-style service, Boma will reopen with its buffet operational.

Buffet dining was temporarily discontinued as part of the health and safety measures implemented when the parks reopened last July amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. However, Disneyland Resort has already returned to buffet self-service, and Walt Disney World is not far behind.

Stay tuned for more information as this is a developing story.

  1. I’m glad to hear this, Boma was one of the best spots on property and to modify it would be a shame. Hopefully it will include the variety it had before.

Someone here should give it a new review once it reopens.
