Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Allowed Guests Without Boarding Groups Into Standby Line for First Time Ever at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Yesterday, we reported that boarding groups for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance were still available past 4 p.m., a rare situation. Later, in an even more unprecedented situation, guests were allowed to enter the standby line without a boarding group for the first time.

Boarding passes continued to be available until 7 p.m., when the virtual queue system ends for the night. At that time, all guests were allowed to enter the standby line. There was virtually no wait for the popular attraction by 8:30 p.m., half an hour before the park closed.

  1. Disney just wants your money, in all facets, originality and imagination are dead. Used to work for them, glad to be done with them. They ruined real Marvel and Star Wars, what’s next? Lol sad

  2. I’m guessing the fact that many schools and colleges are back in session is at least partly the reason for the smaller lines.
