The next member of the “Disney Fab 50” collection of character statues coming to Walt Disney World for its fiftieth anniversary has been announced… and it stars one fabulous feline!
Direct from Wonderland, the Cheshire Cat will have a statue at the Magic Kingdom. Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle made the announcement on his Instagram account, accompanied by two cast members, Ben (who has been working at Walt Disney World since 1971), and LaTara (who has been working there for two years).
While the Cheshire Cat is the latest one to be announced, it does follow the rumored list of characters to be featured in the collection, which we reported about last Friday. Other recent announcements include Soul‘s Joe Gardner, Coco‘s Dante, and The Incredibles‘ Edna Mode, while work has already begun on the plots for these statues.

I’m really hoping that Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox & Brer Bear join the elite 50 Golden Statues
considering it has been said alice in wonderland was based on an acid trip, i wonder how much longer until the woke crowd goes after these characters? of course, maybe the woke crowd loves the idea of tripping?
