1. Would’ve loved to see Ray the Firefly and Abu! Some live action like Jack Sparrow, Mary Poppins, and Davey Crockett would’ve been welcome as well!

2. These choices are so weird. No Remy? I figured he was a shoe-in given that he’s the only one getting a new ride for the 50th. Also sad to see that there’s no Jiminy Cricket. It would be so easy to add him onto Pinocchio’s a la Timothy with Dumbo. Overall, this seems like a lackluster list.

4. 50th anniversary, at Cinderella’s castle, and there is no…Cinderella but there is Ariel…make it make sense @Disney

5. Good list. Was hoping for a Baymax.

   • No, Baymax and his Hero 6 crewmembers have their own story to tell, independent of Disney’s movies.

6. It’s neat and all but Disney needs more Fastpass being back and less gold statue announcements.

7. If Baymax isn’t one of the statues I’ll riot. And by riot I mean mention it bitterly in conversation for a little while.

10. I don’t think the duos like Timon and Pumbaa will count as two statues.

14. That’s an interesting list. I wouldn’t have repeated across movies (Either Dante or Miguel, or Brunei or Olaf, or Frozone or Edna, not both), but at least it’s not all super popular characters.

20. I feel that Baloo from Jungle Book, should have been included. that movie is clearly a classic and should be repesented.

23. I’d like to know who decided on which characters got statues. Why does Joe Gardner get a statue but Snow White or Dopey doesn’t?!?! I myself was hoping for a statue of Rapunzel and or Pascal or Maximus but nope it didn’t happen. Seriously would like to know what they were thinking when they made these choices.

24. José and Panchito (so all three caballeros) should have been on this list. I will say that its cool to see Orange Bird made the list.

29. My kids would loved to seen Jack Skellington and Wall-E included in the collection.

30. It seems most of these characters are under represented through the parks, so I would say Ariel should be replaced with Jiminy Cricket or Dopey. Of course, the iconic characters belong, but this list seems to be more of an ode to the characters that don’t get a lot of attention (unlike the princesses).

31. No Herbie – the Love Bug? Unforgivable.

32. Dante? DANTE?! BEFORE SNOW WHITE? Orange bird? Before Snow White?! Or Mary Poppins? Bruni? Honestly! These are so insulting!!

33. No Elsa, Anna, Genie and Aladdin, mr incredible, Judy hoops Baymax Nick Wilde why Disney Whyyyyyy? Well at least my favorite character stitch in in the fab 50
