Disney announced today that the beds will be coming to the villas at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows when its ongoing refurbishment concludes this fall, as well as The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa when its refurbishment begins in November. Currently, the beds can be found at Disney’s Riviera Resort and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.

In addition, Disney provided updates on the refurbishments of Saratoga Springs as well as Disney’s Old Key West Resort, with Old Key West’s refurbishment of its lobby scheduled to be complete in early fall, and Saratoga Springs’ refurbishment expected to finish later in fall. Currently, work is being done on Saratoga Springs’ lobby’s exterior, as well as structural work on the Carriage House roof and trusses and the resort’s walking paths.

  1. Yes!! My son always has to sleep on the pull out couch – he’s a 6’+ tall 15 yr old and he hates the things, has a bar in his back all night. Cannot wait for these for him everywhere!

  2. So… my question is do these new beds simply replace the foldout couches and each room still has a regular queen size bed as well? Just hoping they aren’t eliminating a queen bed with a wall bed to create more floor space during the day…
