Imagineer Zach Riddley has taken once again to Instagram to sneak a peek behind the scenes of his latest project, Space 220 Restaurant. This time, he gave a closer look at some of the flooring for the space station-themed venue.
The first image reveals geometric patterns in shades of blue, as seen in the dining areas in a video posted by Riddley earlier this month.
The second image shows tile reminiscent of the famous Alucobond paneling of Spaceship Earth.

I would like to see the menu and prices to see if I am interested. One article said Modern American. What does that mean? A cheeseburger deconstructed?
I was excited until I saw it was stated it would be a Prix Fixe menu… When they first started talking about the unannounced menu they acted as if it were going to be a regualr menu with tons of great high end wines. I’ll wait to place final judegment when I see the menu. I have no issue paying 75+ for dinner (alcohol not included) but I’m not being forced into picking something for 59.00 that is mass produced (ick) that I really don’t want just to see the interior of a place.
He is seriously obsessed with floors!
I like that Disney lets Zach share all the details he does.
I’ve been waiting to try space 220 like many of you for a couple of years. The food I’m sure will be fine with Patina involved – What I’m more concerned with is the view screens. The original concepts showed really intriguing space concepts – now the “actual” views appear to just be google earth. I’m hoping it’s hi-res and dynamic throughout the meal – like what you’re going to get at starcruiser.
