Living with the Land Remains Closed for Sixth Consecutive Day at EPCOT

For the sixth consecutive day, Living with the Land remains closed at EPCOT.

Cast Members stood out front to prevent guests from entering the queue for the attraction, notifying them of the closure.

Previously, we were told that the ride was expected to be up and running on Tuesday, however, it seems whatever issues the attraction is experiencing are taking longer to fix than initially anticipated. The ride had been experiencing intermittent downtime prior to its full shutdown. No refurbishments are scheduled as of now.

When we passed by, we did see boats cycling through the waterway, which seems like an encouraging sign at the very least. A Cast Member who spoke to us told us they don’t know when the attraction will be reopened.

  1. There was a pretty big water leak in the greenhouse roof just before it closed. That’s likely what caused this.

  2. I love this ride. It is the sweet spot of my day at Epcot every trip. Last time I rode it in July the speakers on my boat were out in the front and no narration could be heard. Took a lot of enjoyment out of this Epcot staple. I hope that is part of what they are fixing and it’s back in operation soon.

  3. Any ideas if this is affecting Garden Grill in terms of getting to overlook part of the ride?

  4. Did it open back up? I thought the closure might be related to the person trying to steal veggies? I bet they put up some type of fence or doors on the boats to keep guests from getting out of the boat during the ride.
