Walt Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley has shared several photos of Spaceship Earth’s new “points of light” illuminated for nighttime testing.
Zach said on Instagram, “Our new lighting system for Spaceship Earth is something entirely original – a first-of-its-kind programmable LED lighting system invented by our very own Imagineers to integrate seamlessly into the iconic Spaceship Earth façade.
Let me guess. WS2811 pixels using E1.31? I know they’re not still using Artnet.
Looks…cool? I don’t know – the original nighttime light scheme is so iconic. Perhaps the lights will move and sparkle. This could look neat with the entrance stuff. I wonder if it will be incorporated in harmonious?
