PHOTOS: More Sections of “it’s a small world” Façade Repainted at Magic Kingdom

More sections of the “it’s a small world” façade in Magic Kingdom have been repainted with fresh new colors.

For over fifteen years, the interior façade was white and gold. This colorful refurbishment unexpectedly began a month ago.

The Eiffel Tower is now a purple-pink color.

The panels next to it are shades of green.

A section in the back corner is now mint colored.

We also took a closer look at the clocktower, where the 5 and 0 appear to be a different shade of gold from the other numbers.

This may be on purpose in honor of the park’s 50th anniversary on October 1.

It could also just mean that painting has not been completed on the numbers.

  1. if disney wanted to get rid of callers in line waiting to talk to a cast member, all they would have to do while you are waiting is to play it is a small world incessantly while you are waiting. would make you hang up every time. or possibly commit suicide.

  2. Glad to see a little paint brightened it right up. Hopefully all the animatronics are in good working order. Even the little ones pick up on what is and is not working, when they’ve been there a few times.
