Disney has kicked off the first-ever World Princess Week with several new (and old) princess-inspired treats at Walt Disney World. Guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom can try the new Pocahontas mousse now available at Creature Comforts (Starbucks).
Pocahontas Mousse – $5.99
Pinapple-banana cake, cream cheese-coconut mousse, chocolate feather and gem
This mousse comes in a convenient plastic case for easy carrying.
This was surprisingly very good! The bottom layer is a funfetti pinapple-banana cake, but we just tasted banana.
The coconut cream cheese mousse was missing any hints of coconut, so it’s more just a cream cheese mousse, but that’s okay.
Even though the flavors were not exactly what was advertised, we still loved them.
The blue icing is vanilla and isn’t super sweet like some can be. The sprinkles add some fun texture and decor to the treat.
In between the layer of cake and mousse are crunchy pearls. They give the dessert a little texture and pop that really made it all come together.
It may not be exactly what’s advertised, but it’s still a good dessert that we would get again.
