Lovers of Chinese cuisine, rejoice! After being closed for over a year, Nine Dragons Restaurant will reopen today at the China Pavilion in EPCOT.
Several cast members confirmed that the restaurant will be open for dinner service today, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
No reservations will be accepted at this time, with only walk-ins being seated.
The doors were unlocked when we stopped by, allowing us to see the lobby as preparations to reopen were underway.
Guests were still able to access the restrooms from the nearby Lotus Blossom Cafe, with a safety cone and a bench blocking access to the Nine Dragons lobby.
Prior to reopening, the restaurant served as additional seating for Lotus Blossom Cafe beginning in March. With Nine Dragons back in action, it’s very likely that this policy has come to an end.
Signage outside advertises some of the offerings found within, including Crispy Duck Fried Rice, Canton Pepper Beef, Spicy Honey Crispy Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken & Shrimp, Salt & Pepper Shrimp with Spinach Noodles, Kowloon Spare Ribs, and Vegetable & Tofu Stir-Fry. As fans of Nine Dragons, we’re excited to see it finally open once more!
