Dig this! Souvenir minerals and rocks are once again available for sale at Frontier Trading Post in the Magic Kingdom.
The rocks, looking like they were mined fresh from Big Thunder Mountain, were not available in the store when it reopened a year ago, so it’s good to have a little more of that frontier theming return!
Appropriately, the stones can be found in a display replicating a mining cart, complete with track beneath!
Currently, a variety of colorful rocks and minerals are available, including amethyst, calcite, thin agate sheets, and crystal points.
With certain COVID-19 safety measures being relaxed, guests can dig right in and choose their own piece to take home.
The rocks are not recommended for children under three.
For those who have a hard time choosing, a tube of smaller rocks is also available.
The rocks and tube retail for $5.99 each.

This is exciting! I really hope they put these back at the stores in Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge. They must come with rail cart and track. Fingers crossed.
