The temporary stage surrounding the “Partners” statue in Magic Kingdom has been fully revealed, having previously been covered in black fabric during the day as construction was completed.
The stage creates a four-point star shape around the statue. The angled edges of the stage are the same EARidescent colors as the castle’s 50th anniversary decorations.
The 50th anniversary logo is on the front point of the star.
The stage is blocked from guest access with plants.
It will stay up for the rest of the week as “The Most Magical Story on Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World” is filmed overnight. The two-hour special chronicling Walt Disney World’s history will air on ABC on October 1.
Stairs at the back of the stage are for crew and special guest access.
This special, hosted by Disney Legend Whoopi Goldberg, will take you on a journey spanning half a century and beyond at Walt Disney World. The show will also feature spectacular visuals and musical performances from Christina Aguilera and Halle Bailey in front of Cinderella Castle. Throughout the special, you’ll see exclusive interviews with actors, actresses, athletes, Cast Members, Imagineers, and executives past and present who have all played their unique part in sprinkling pixie dust over “The Most Magical Place on Earth.”
“The Most Magical Story on Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World” airs Friday, October 1 at 8-10 PM ET on ABC. It can also be viewed the next day on demand and on Hulu, and later in the month on Disney+.

Considering the fact that it’s airing between 8 PM and 10 PM on the first of October, does this mean they’ll also have a live showing of Enchantment and HarmonioUS during the special?
Glad the giant monstrosity is temporary. Most families do a vacation picture with the statue (as we do).
