As we first reported a few days ago, the August Evening Exclusive cookie at Gideon’s Bakehouse is the Dark Coffee Cake Cookie. We returned to Disney Springs this evening to try the exclusive treat.
The August menu features Signore Pipistrello, a rather distinguished looking bat. Pipistrello can only emerge at night.
In addition to the August limited edition The Rocky Road cookie, Gideon’s Bakehouse is offering an evening exclusive that Pipistrello — and guests — can enjoy.
The Dark Coffee Cake Cookie is available beginning at sunset through sell out. Gideon’s began selling the cookie at 8:12 PM tonight, which was officially sunset.
The normally long line was short this evening. The weather could have kept the crowds to a minimum.

A Gideon’s Coffee Cake Cookie with a chocolate cookie base
The chocolate cookie is the same base used for The Rocky Road cookie.
The cookie is covered with coffee cake crumbles.
The difference between the Dark Coffee Cake Cookie and the Coffee Cake Cookie available in the morning is the use of the chocolate cookie. The daytime Coffee Cake Cookie has a vanilla bean base.
Cinnamon in the coffee cake crumbles compliments the chocolate very well.
