Magic Kingdom

• The Liberty Square Riverboat at Magic Kingdom will be closing for a short refurbishment starting Monday, August 23. 
• The clocktower inside Magic Kingdom’s “it’s a small world” was recently repainted to be bright and colorful, painting has now moved to the surrounding façade.
• It’s that time of year again: time for Mickey pumpkins, golden fall foliage and spooky decorations across the Magic Kingdom.

EPCOT

• Now we have specific dates on when Cast Members will get their turn to visit Chef Remy’s Parisian kitchen on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
• Snow White is now appearing at EPCOT in a physically distanced meet-and-greet.

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

• Flying Fish, located at Disney’s Boardwalk, is rumored to reopen in September.
• More dates have been added for the Extended Evening Hours Deluxe Resort benefit at Walt Disney World.

Other Walt Disney World News

• Walt Disney World has updated their rider switch (a.k.a. child swap) policy to limit the number of guests who can ride twice.
• Dozens of limited-time and exclusive Halloween treats are coming to Walt Disney World this fall; check out the full list.
• Orange Bird will be one of the Disney Fab 50 characters depicted as gold statues throughout Walt Disney World for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”
• For the first time, all Halloween merchandise has had a two item limit imposed.
• Negotiations have been ongoing between Disney and the Services Trade Council, a collection of six unions representing Cast Members at Walt Disney World regarding Disney’s vaccination requirement.
• The medals for the 2021 Disney Wine & Dine races have been revealed.

•  Early this year, Disney announced the closing of their Annual Pass program, and now the program’s Twitter account has been closed as well.

• Spooky season has officially begun, so take a look with us at every piece of Halloween merchandise available at Walt Disney World.

• Disney is now seeking arbitration in the Scarlett Johansson “Black Widow” lawsuit.
• As Walt Disney Imagineering is celebrating the anniversary of The Haunted Mansion opening at Disneyland, their official Instagram has shared the first look at the upcoming Muppets special “Muppets Haunted Mansion”.
