Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which is still in previews before its October 1 opening, experienced downtime this afternoon after two ride vehicles experienced a minor collision.

A WDWNT reader sent in a photo and video after witnessing the incident. She was seated in the ride vehicle behind the two that collided. The photo and video depict the two ride vehicles that collided as seen after the reader was able to exit the ride vehicle.

Guests were able to exit the ride vehicles. Some waited more than 45 minutes for the ride to resume operations or were given the opportunity to return later.

  1. What do you think WDW policy will be when guests pay good money for little waiting forthe “premium rides” and the ride breaks down or is not whole? With the recent track record of malfunctions, this is going to be an issue. Same with the genie+ rides. I wouldn’t be happy paying extra for something and then not having any or all of the experience.

  2. since it is just previews, they might want to change the name to the guinea pig adventure? probably designed by the same people that designed the skyliner. what could possibly go wrong?
