Disney’s Contemporary Resort is still undergoing a lengthy refurbishment, but the end is looking near as scrim has been recently removed from its exterior, curtains are being put away, and now artwork is being set in the main entryways.

A rooster in Mary Blair style can be seen, reminiscent to some birds seen in the Grand Canyon Concourse mural, and even the one on “it’s a small world”.

Down the long hallway that was previously covered with an extended black curtain, more framed art sits on the refurbished wall.

These appear to be repurposed art from around the hotel, not moved into on place. We specifically recognize the Andy Warhol pieces from our stay in the Presidential Suite last year.

More modern and contemporary pieces in simplistic frames line part of the hallway that is complete.
