PHOTOS: Tokyo Disney Resort Releasing Official Cookbook on September 22
Tokyo Disney Resort is well-known for many things, but perhaps one of the more significant memories most guests have are of the delicious treats you can pick up! From perennial favorites like Gyoza Dogs to seasonal delights like popcorn soda, there’s always something special to try at the parks. And now, guests can bring home a bit of that magic with the Official Tokyo Disney Resort Cookbook, releasing September 22!
The book includes 62 recipes from Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, specially selected by six chefs (including both parks’ executive chefs) working at Tokyo Disney Resort. Western, Japanese, and Chinese cuisines will be featured, as well as a selection of desserts.
Recipes within include nostalgic tastes like the Seafood Crepe Gratin, sold when Tokyo Disneyland opened in 1983, special event delicacies like the Festival Chiharazushi (seen above) sold during Natsu Matsuri 2018 at Tokyo Disneyland, and the Lobster Seafood Gumbo regularly sold at the Blue Bayou Restaurant.
Perennial favorites like the Gyoza Dog will also be part of this recipe collection!
Readers can also expect to learn how to make Mickey Waffles similar to those found at the Great American Waffle Company.
The book goes on sale at restaurants around Tokyo Disney Resort for ¥1650 ($15.00) starting September 22 and contains recipes from 20 locations at Tokyo Disneyland and 17 locations at Tokyo DisneySea.
