Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination or Negative Test Required at “Mega Events,” Including Theme Parks, in Los Angeles County Starting October 7

In Los Angeles County, California, a new policy will require all attendees and employees at “mega events” (defined as events with more than 10,000 people) to have proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative test.

According to LA-based reporter Claudia Peschiutta, the Director of Public Health Barbara Ferrer said, “[Theme parks] will be included in this.” More details are forthcoming from the department.

Universal Studios Hollywood is located in Los Angeles County. At this time, the company has not addressed the public health policy.

Stay tuned as this is a developing story.
