Danny DeVito Joins the Cast of Disney’s New ‘Haunted Mansion’ Movie

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Danny DeVito has joined the cast of Disney’s upcoming “Haunted Mansion” movie. DeVito joins Owen Wilson, Rosario Dawson, Tiffany Haddish, and LaKeith Stanfield.

DeVito previously appeared in Disney’s live-action “Dumbo.” He also voiced Phil in Disney’s “Hercules.”

DeVito is perhaps best known for his roles in “Taxi,” “Romancing the Stone,” “Batman Returns,” “Twins,” and, currently, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”

Justin Simien (“Dear White People,” “Bad Hair”) is directing the film. Production recently began in Atlanta and New Orleans.

Live-action “Aladdin” producers Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich are producing “Haunted Mansion,” and Nick Reynolds is executive producing. The script is by Katie Dippold.
