Disney Cruise Line is facing a $20,000,000 lawsuit from a family who is alleging that the Oceaneer Club staff failed to stop a child from sexually assaulting their 3-year-old, according to the Orlando Sentinel. The family had been sailing aboard the Disney Fantasy in January 2020.

The child’s parents are claiming the staff were not trained or licensed for child care and failed to both intervene during the assault or inform the parents.

A spokesperson for the Disney Cruise Line has denied the allegations, citing the determination by the Brevard County Sherrif’s Office that the claims were unfounded.
