Disney Cruise Line Under Investigation for Potentially Violating Governor DeSantis’ Vaccine Passport Law

Disney Cruise Line is one of 120 cases under investigation for potentially violating the vaccine passport law enacted by Florida’s Governor DeSantis, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Governor DeSantis had outlawed Florida companies to require “vaccine passports” or otherwise require proof of vaccination. Disney Cruise Line recently introduced a policy requiring all guests ages 12 and older to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19.

A federal judge had declared cruise lines were allowed to require proof of vaccination, but now it seems that the state government is investigating the Disney Cruise Line as a potential violator anyway.

  1. Desantis is a clown and a hypocrite. It’s amazing how some of these so-called conservatives have suddenly become so anti-business.

  2. God forbid that a company try to be responsible and protect their guests and cast members. DeSantis has No clue what he’s doing. He has no business being in public office.

  3. This will eventually go to the Supreme Court where DeSantis will lose. The Court has never taken kindly to public entities telling a private business how to operate that business, especially when there is conflicting guidance at the federal level.

  4. They went around Florida law. Naturally, Florida is going to investigate. Disney’s Cruise Line is requiring proof of vaccination and making everybody wear a mask. Does the vaccine really work? Mask maniacs are making us start to doubt.

  5. As much as I love DCL, I hope they get fined. Someone needs to be made an example. I wish I could move to FL. It’s the most free state in the union. Good job, Ron!
