‘My Plans’ Returns to My Disney Experience App as ‘Future Plans’

When the My Disney Experience app updated October 19, new features like Disney Genie, Lightning Lane, and Audio Tales were added. One longtime My Disney Experience feature — My Plans — disappeared with the update. The My Plans functionality has returned to the app as Future Plans.

Future Plans is accessed by tapping the hamburger menu icon found in My Disney Experience’s lower right corner. Future Plans appears as one of the tiles; it is the second one down in the right column.

Tapping the Future Plans button displays a concise view of the guest’s plans. Other than the added Lightning Lane text, Future Plans looks identical to the previous My Plans.

  1. Yes, very relieved to have it back. I was super frustrated yesterday when I couldn’t find in and was afraid my March park reservations had vanished.

  2. the new disney requires one to spend all their time on their phone rather than enjoying the magic. how does this differ from just staying home and skipping the very expensive half magic?
